what my eyes see as art.
Juxtaposition of nature vs
man usually..
the passing of time, the
perseverance of things, the
beauty and the beast..
It is not so much about the
quality of the photograph but
of capturing an essence, the
light across a surface, the
angle of a line, the
transparency of a leaf..
I take photographs to inform
my process as an artist... my
expression is fuller with my
photography..

paint and brush. It is as vital
as the model herself.
Profoundly significant, it
caresses the essential
superlative curves and lines.
Light I acknowledge as the
energy upon which all life on
this planet depends."
